How to Eliminate Odors In Your Home

1. 

   Arm & Hammer Baking Soda:  To rid a room of smelly odors, open a box of  Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and place it on any shelf in the room.  You can  also mix 2 teaspoons of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda with 2 cups of water in a  trigger spray bottle and spray the room with the mixture.  The baking soda  dissolves odors much like it does in a refrigerator.

   Bounce Fabric Softener Sheets:  To banish odors in a dresser drawer or   closet, place a sheet or two of Bounce Fabric Softener sheets in the designated  areas.  Freshen rooms by a taping a fabric softener sheet to a fan or air  conditioning vent and turn on.  The scent will circulate through the  room.

   Car-Freshener Trees:  Rid each room in your home of odors by attaching a  Car-Freshener Tree to the window blind.  Car-Freshener Trees come in many  different scents so you can choose a different smell for each room if you like.   Odors diminish much like they would in a vehicle where car fresheners are  hung.

   Downy Fabric Softener:  Get rid of odors by mixing 1 tablespoon of Downy  Fabric Softener liquid with 2 cups of water in a trigger spray bottle.  Spray  the mixture in each room that has odors and your home will smell spring fresh.   Plus, you save money from having to purchase deodorizing products such as  Febreze.

   Heinz White Vinegar:  This may sound funny, but vinegar actually gets rid of  odors in the home…as long as you use white vinegar.  Fill a spray bottle with  Heinz White Vinegar and do not dilute.  Spray around your home as a natural air  freshener.  When the strong scent of vinegar quickly disappears, you’ll have a  clean and fresh smelling home.

6. 

   Cotton balls:  To leave your home smelling fresh and free from odors, try  spritzing a few cotton balls with your favorite perfume or body mist and placing  them in the bag of your vacuum cleaner.  When you vacuum each room, the scent  will be left on your carpets and make each room smell amazing.  Do this each  time before you vacuum for the best  results.
